Architect-designed New Homes, Queenslanders and Major Renovations

At Quorum Studios, we design homes for the way you actually live in them — new builds, Queenslander renovations and major extensions across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. You work directly with us, start to finish — not a rotating cast of juniors. Beautiful design matters to us. So does making sure it holds up to real family life, not just photographs well.

Your architect, from beginning to end

At Quorum Studios, we design homes across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast — new builds, Queenslander renovations and major extensions. We're Manny and Vanessa. We've kept the practice small and personal, in an industry that often scales past the point of really knowing the people you're designing for.

Every home starts with the same question: how do you want to live? We listen, we design around real family life, and we're with you from that first conversation through to the day you move in — not handed off along the way.

Our Story

Design is never a straight line

Design is never a straight line — it's a process of exploration, refinement, and discovery. From the first rough sketch model to the moment the materials click into place, every decision is part of a conversation.

We test ideas physically before committing to them, refine the shape of a home until it feels right, and explore how light will move through a space long before a single brick is laid — early enough to still be alive with possibility, far enough along to glimpse the home it's becoming.

The Same Attention, Every Project

Every home we design gets the same level of care, whether it's a Queenslander renovation or a new build from scratch. We think through every detail — how the light falls, how a room gets used, how it'll feel to actually live there — so the finished home feels like it was made for you, not just built for you.

How do you want to live?

That's the question every project starts with. We take the time to properly understand how you'll actually use your home before we design a single room. Timeless design matters to us, but so does everyday practicality — a home has to work as well as it looks.

From our first conversation through to handover, you'll work directly with us. No hand-offs, no confusion — just one point of contact throughout. We're on-site during construction, and if a decision gets complicated, we'll explain it in plain terms, not jargon.

We also design with the long term in mind — homes built for Brisbane's context, not just for the day they're finished.
