Petrie Character Reimagined

Petrie on Pine is a picturesque suburb known for itsstunning traditional character homes that reflect the rich architectural heritage of the area. These homes, often featuring classic Queenslander styles,exude warmth and charm, making them highly sought after by families andindividuals alike.

We were engaged by our clients to assist with the designing of their Outdoor Entertainment Area. The clients felt that the area was perhaps too compact for entertaining and did not make the most of the location especially taking into consideration that the home backs onto a leafy and lush reserve.

This re-design of this area also triggered a re*look of the adjoining living spaces with opportunities explored on how best to open the Kitchen space more and also incorporate a Butler’s Pantry. Furthermore, we assisted our clients with exploring a more contemporary and complimentary external colour scheme.

By maximizing the connection between indoor and outdoor living, we aimed to create a seamless flow that enhances the overall functionality and aesthetic appeal of the home. The result was a beautifully integrated entertainment space that not only complements the character of the house but also offers a perfect setting for gatherings, family celebrations, and simply enjoying the tranquillity of the surrounding natural setting.
