Located in Clontarf on the Redcliffe Peninsula, this thoughtful renovation transforms an existing dwelling into a contemporary Hamptons-inspired family home that maximises a challenging site. Working within the constraints of a narrow 15-metre width while capitalising on the property's depth, Quorum Studios created a linear floor plan that cleverly balances privacy and openness while maintaining strong connections between spaces.

The design celebrates Queensland's indoor-outdoor lifestyle with a stunning covered deck that serves as the heart of the home, featuring a dramatic raked ceiling, stone chimney feature, and seamless connection to the pool area. White weatherboard cladding, gabled roof forms, and refined detailing honour the coastal context while providing a timeless aesthetic that feels both sophisticated and relaxed. The resulting home delivers generous, light-filled living spaces that flow effortlessly from front to back, demonstrating how thoughtful architecture can transform spatial limitations into design opportunities.
